very disappointing year to say the least… Softball makes it to the CWS and we can’t get out of a regional… in terms of roster construction Todd Golden is absolutely the man
very disappointing year considering the resources we have, our university in general, and everything else… Baseball wise, we should never settle for regional losses. Worst case scenario we should be hosting and possibly lose in a super regional and that’s worst case scenario. For the first 30% of the SEC season we were abysmal. That should never happen at Florida. We were abysmal in this regional. That should never happen at Florida. if not very careful roster construction wise next year will be a very very challenging year. King should be our Friday night guy followed by Liam and there’s no doubt about that. We just need to get a Transfer that can step in as a Sunday starter. There are several out there from mid majors in our state. Have to grab a excellent catcher in the portal as we have no experience going to step in next year Have to try to get Tybo To stay and make him understand a big senior year could result in a lot of money.
Regardless, Stripling’s in my starting lineup next year kid never stops playing while others give away at bats. He gives everything he has.
The only more forgettable regional I can remember is when USF and South Alabama ate our lunch in Gainesville. Props to the mid season turnaround. Here's to a return to the CWS next year.
