if we score 7 more runs in this game, are we capable of not allowing them to score? It's a real head scratcher as to why we don't have a solid pitching staff.
Good things happen when you put bat on ball. we refuse to take his outside pitch the opposite way… We continue to stare at it or try to pull it
Another thing, when you’ve got a 95 to 96 mile an hour fastball that moves like Jake does. I don’t know why we throw slider so much and speed up their bat. that’s what occurred on the home run… We sped up his bat. he’s not catching up with Jake’s fastball. Jake’s basketball ball will sometimes play 2 to 3 miles an hour more than it is… Not sure why we keep throwing those frisbee sliders…
Yup, it's looking a tad challenging out there. Hitting would help. Pitching as well. Yesterday was like playing a high school team. Today, EC are doing whatever they want! Still early. Maybe it'll rain? "Did the Americans give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" (Couldn't resist!) Based on how our year started, we're fortunate to have made it this far. Here we go Gators, here we go! Go Gators.
Our guys bail out on low breaking balls. They hardly ever go with the pitch. It reminds me of myself at 12 yrs old, stepping in the bucket.
Wow, just really bad at bats… Not even competitive. Pitching has been bad but to not even show up today and put four or five runs on the board is shocking.
Yep, that kid can keep throwing 90 on the outer half and pitch eight or nine innings against us because we refuse to hit the ball the other way
