Another wild game in Conway last night. Coastal and E Carolina were trading the lead until Coastal hit a grand slam in the 7th, and then they just kept pouring it on. Final Coastal 18-7. They're certainly in the driver's seat for this regional, but our first task is to finish off E Carolina and send them home. Thanks for the post. floridagators.com shows the game at Noon on ESPN+. But glad to see you got it right. YouTubeTV confirms it at 1 pm on ESPNU.
We still have to win three straight and the hope is that Coppola can get 5 innings and we don't have to use Clemente against ECU. Hope their pitching staff is spent.
ncaa website has been very slow to update. I started relying on ESPN.com and they've been spot on https://www.espn.com/college-baseball/scoreboard/_/date/20250601
This is what all the hard work has been done for Gators—time for some big boy baseball. Answer the bell, let’s do this!
Well, time for a couple of pitchers to earn their keep. We should score plenty of points now that ECU has essentially burned up all of their arms. Just need to get into synch with that kind of pitcher, like we finally did against Fairfield. And would be nice if the offense did so much that we can use only two pitchers.
I live in Mt Pleasant SC, about 2 hours south of the regional. It’s a beautiful clear and sunny spring-like day today - perfect weather for a couple wins!! GO GATORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope we had some discussion about handling the inside game , communication on the bunt. Who has the bag on steal attempt, backing up bases.. Just go out and play catch. ECU Offense is going to move us around with the small game threat. Prepare for slash / hit and runs !!!
