The ACC is really crazy. GT won the regular season title. UNC won the tournament and is actually the #1 team in the AP at the moment. But got bumped to 5 seed after Auburn jumped them to get to 4. Virginia didnt make the tournament and they were 16-11 while GT wins the league at 19-11

 

Coastal bringing ECU back to reality. Up 15-5 in the 8th.

 

Louisville held on to beat Vandy, who left the tying run at third in the ninth.

 

And UTSA ( never heard of em but like their colors) knocks off Texas 9-7.

 

UTSA pitcher who ended it looked like a late career copy of Bartolo Colon.

 

West Va also beat Clemson. Was a tie game heading to the 9th and Eeers scored 4. Clemson got 1 and had the bases loaded before West Va struck out the last batter. Clemson doesn't seem to have much luck in close postseason games(should out Michael Robertson).

 

I watched UTSA play against USF in the regular season and they have a solid team. It will be interesting to see if they can finish the job and advance after knocking off Texas the 1st time.

 

Who would have thought that #1 Vandy and #2 Texas playing Sunday in elimination games while Murray State and scUM are in the drivers seat

The number of seeds having to battle for their lives today is amazing. And #5 Oregon is already out. Pitching depth becomes the issue for these mid major teams who get an early upset. I hope the Gators have enough to win twice today and again tomorrow, but Coastal Carolina is really good. But if we can beat East Carolina, I do think Liam will be able to come back and start a game.
