At first I thought it was satire from the Onion. It's a serious news story from the Financial Times a well-respected British publication similar to the Wall Street Journal. The title speaks for itself. Pension fund investors demand Elon Musk work 40-hour week at Tesla
Musk once bragged that no one can change the world in just 40 hours. When pushed for how many it takes he responded with 80-100 hours per week. Guess the investors are just reading his tweets on X.
If I were Elon I would give them exactly what they ask for. I'd get a bullet proof vest and a sawed off shotgun and go to work working security at Tesla dealers around the country. But I'm not Elon.
Maybe it's just me but I think restoring the brand loyalty that Elon has damaged and increasing sales should take priority over deterring the minuscule number of nutcakes who may vandalize cars and dealerships. The nutcakes aren't Elon's problem it's affluent liberals have been purchasing and will continue to purchase other brands of EVs instead of Teslas.
Yeah, all rich people tell you it’s because they work harder than you. You ain’t a billionaire because of effort, full stop.
Hey “come on” Bill - my post was a light-hearted jab about the email Musk sent to government employees. If he doesn’t send in his report, Tesla stockholders will consider it his resignation!!
