FYI, I can no longer open any pub threads when not logged in. Every time I click on a link I get an error. Occurs on multiple android devices still on going for a couple of weeks. Other forums appear to be ok.
I'm experiencing the same problem. I don't know a cache from a cash, but it doesn't make sense to me that that the issue is on the user's end when the problem is isolated to one specific forum.
It seems that this is still a problem. I’m usually logged in on my tablet, but if I’m out and about with just my phone and I try to access the Pub, it lets me into the forum, but when I try to open a thread, I get told I have to need logged in. But I can get on the forum and open threads in Swamp Gas, NBN, even Too Hot (as if I really want to), apparently as a guest or visitor, without logging in. So, just the Pub threads are closed off if I’m not logged in.
