Trump ambushes another world leader at the WH

The article, which has been posted more than once, even acknowledges that whites are being murdered at a lower pace than blacks.

 

Amen! This thread is about Trump once again berating another foreign leader with his henchmen, publicly attacking him with copious amounts of insults and misinformation that he got from his Facebook and Untruth Social followers, then showing the world videos and pictures from the wrong country! I know there is a lot of BS that tRump throws out there but please stay on task!

 

I don't support completely open borders but I do support immigration. I admit that I don't know what the right number is. If all these illegal immigrants are so bad though, then Republicans should be able to make their case without lying about things like gang tattoos, pointing out individual crimes to fear monger instead of presenting broad statistics comparing immigrants to citizens, and violating the constitutional right to due process.

On topic, I think if the Preaident wants to accept immigrants from South Africa because of "white genocide" then he should be able to present his argument to the people without lying about a video that isn't even from South Africa. It should be a pretty basic expectation of all Americans that the President has accurate information, especially when confronting the leader from another country. With the amount of information, intelligence, and experts at the President’s disposal, there is zero excuse for such a big error - that is unless the president is forced to lie to make his argument (which is also the case immigration more broadly).

Some favor letting more than we should, but "the left" does not favor letting them "all" in.

You make a great point. Why should we give a hoot about the plight of these (WHITE) South Africans in the first place, when Trump and the Trump Administration have clearly indicated that they don't care about (BLACK) refugees from other countries, or (BROWN) refugees from Latin America.

I can't quite figure it out, but for some reason these (WHITE) people are being treated differently, considering that there are reprehensible govts in so many other countries.

Maybe some of the MAGA posters on this thread could explain why they care so much about refugees from SA, but not from, say, Haiti or Venezuela?
