I’ll die on this mountain. I absolutely believe Ashley Chastain for SC should have won SEC coach of the year. Preseason last yet they earned a top 8 seed. Funny how the team expected to finish last was the first Team to welcome Oklahoma into the Sec, coincident? I think not. SEC bending the knee to gasso. SC fought tooth and nail every game and yeah they got swept but I knew they were legit right then and there.
Mike white teams always underperform when the lights are bright. Way more money to play with in Texas than he had in Oregon but same result. Great regular season team that falls short of expectations in postseason. I see a pattern.
I agree it should've been Chastin. Gasso gets on my nerves tbh, and i've said before she has gotten lucky with the transfer pitchers. She said in a press conference before the SEC Tourney that she believes they should move the conference tourney to OKC where they play the world series cause it makes most sense to her smh and that did not sit well with me. I like having the tourney at different campuses.
CTW is the best coach. Gasso just always had that Love money and payed for the best players before nil and it was legal. I’m aware CTW comes from her coaching tree.
There is a big part of me that wants bama to knock OU out. There is also the other side of me , like Ocala desires I to want it to be US who ends their reign!
I wish Noles would have won. I think it would be much harder to beat Canady & TT in the WCWS than FSU. I also think it sucks a team that has never been competitive before in one year can go out a buy a championship.
There's an old joke where the punchline is "if they were on fire". It applies to UGA and FSU. In either order you like.
