I agree that it looks that way now, but maybe there will be upsets in the Supers that will help us out.

 

Upsets or not everyone’s path to the championship will be brutal. First things first this Georgia monkey on our backs from 2016 and 2021 needs to be buried…deeply this weekend.

 

I am rooting for the Gators to change the history of uga coming to KSP and winning supers to move on to OKC. I do think this offense is way way better than both the 2016/2021 teams. Florida is by far the better team tbh. UGA only relies on the two lefty pitchers anyone after that is not good and gives up runs in bunches. Going to have to be aggressive early and can't let the two lefties get ahead cause then they throw their junk pitches. UGA did not win an SEC series all season but they were never swept. Have to be aggressive from the start and punch back if we get down. Let's go gators!!

 

It's all going to come down to pitching. Our offense is great, defense has had problems, but when our pitching is good we win.

 

I would say the issue going forward in any matchup against any team is simply this for the softball team. You can’t give up walks or errors in the field that extend innings. And if you do give up homers then it better be just solo homers only with no one on base. Those are the three things to look for moving forward when UF plays anyone moving forward.

Since the beginning of Super Regionals, the winner of the first game wins the series 80% of the time per ESPN.

 

I’m nervous yet confident about tomorrow and the rest of the weekend.

 

Same - Anything can happen in a best of three. Just hope our pitching is sound and we get the key hits and make the plays we have to. No doubt we have the best team.

This is not good. I'm agreeing with you too much recently.

 

In the stadium. Gators in all blue. In a very stupid Buttsniffers move they are literally in all black uniforms with temperatures getting around mid 90s by early afternoon.

 

Hopefully, Korbe & Kenleigh will get going. We're going to need them hitting to make a deep run.

 

That stuff shouldn't phase young athletes. It's also what they wore when they eliminated us 4 years ago.
