    In my opinion:
    • Comey knew what it meant;
    • He posted it on istagram;
    • He removed the post and apologized;
    • Let's quit wasting time on this and solve some real problems.

    It's right out of the deranged left-wing playbook. It's a dog whistle to incite their unhinged, violent supporters. And they are running with it, posting "8647" all over social media.

    Brutal.

    The left made some numbers out of seashells. The right attacked and ransacked the Capitol Building and violently assaulted hundreds of police officers.

    "Solve some real problems?" Another right-wing dog-whistle call for violence. "Solving some problems" has been mafia code for assassination for as long as their have been movies and books.

    You knew what it meant, you should delete, apologize for how i interpreted your message and quit wasting time.

    Projection. An example of a supporter of the President assuming that opponents of Trump think like they do. The last time there were unhinged deranged supporters of a politician acting violently was on January 6, 2021 and apparently that behavior was considered acceptable considering that the participants in the failed insurrection were pardoned by the Dear Leader with virtually no one from the right objecting to the pardon which included persons who violently attacked law enforcement officers.

    I think this was a PR stunt to get Comey's name in the news for his upcoming book release...

    I do not think this was a call for assassination.

    Not the police officers who opened the doors for them.

    It's honestly bizarre that you people are still trying to peddle that. What could possibly be next - the police officers asked them attack their colleagues, and to defecate in the offices of congressmen and women?

    It's like if I went and formed a commune of people that, contrary to all evidence, believed in the divinity of The Flying Spaghetti Monster. But with more people, many more. What would we call a collection of such people?

    Concur.

    (Which doesn't mean he didn't know 86 can mean to kill (just like "bump off", "get rid of", "eliminate"...--though i don't think he was trying to subliminally incite an actual hit on 47).

    EVERYTHING critical about Trump gets his panties in a twist, leading to late night accusations of treason. He will NEVER grow up and take criticism like a man.

    You never asked me if my family was in the Mafia and they were. Mods know my real last name so they can attest to that. My father was always secretive and my mom divorced the SOB when I was nine and I hadn't seen him since 1980. I really don't want any connection to the mafia and even my old man would reference that term many times, back in the 1970s. When did you work in the DOJ?

    So your last name equates to the mafia? And how do they know you used your actual last name?
