(SB) Ongoing UF Softball Commentary

Major screw jobs on the times given to UF on their super regional game times. I don’t ever remember ever given times like that. Major disrespect.

As far as A&M that was a major choke job by that coaching staff. There is certainly a very fine line between winning games at this level but obviously unprepared for the game issues. You choose to go play for A&M then good luck with that concept because there are always issues with their overall athletic department.

 

Georgia lost every SEC series they played this year. Won 1 out of 3 every SEC series except with Tamu which the lost 0-2 as one game was rained out.

 

Was wondering if you would like me to set up one designated ongoing thread to discuss other Super Regionals going on besides UF? Let me know

 

I have 2 events going on around those times, Friday and Saturday...someone may have to take up the slack on PBP-I might be able to rearrange Friday..we'll see lol

 

And they had arguably one of the easiest SEC schedules this season. They didn’t play Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, or Florida in the regular season.

 

That would be my preference but I defer to the main contributors.

 

Seems like we are shaping up for a run. I really enjoyed when Coach turning the batters loose to swing at early pitches. All we need know is our white with orange pin stripe jerseys.

 

TAM did not play Oklahoma or Texas and they lost the series to Florida and Arkansas and Tennessee played them close two games and won one. So I agree they were overrated.

 

I agree. We need NIKE to get us those orange pin stripe jerseys for our run. Need to put Kendra in charge of making it happen.

 

As I understand it, the orange with white pinstripe jersey was a mistake by Nike. It was super thin. However, the players liked it a lot, and they wore it out last year. It no longer exists. I got that from Kendra.

 

I think Lauren Staff has MIA. I have not received my usual emails from her since last Wednesday and she has not written any of the game summaries on the Gator SB Facebook page or on the Florida gators.com/softball page. She has done such a great of keeping us all informed, using all of the social media avenues of communications. Unlike her predecessors, she has also been very responsive to emails.

 

Do any of you sew? We need 2 sets of 21.
Sounds like a major screw up when they became “Rally Jerseys”, player and fan favorites.

 

This matchup always makes me nervous but I trust our girls to come out prepared and firey. Time to go win it all.
