Texas closes it out against Oklahoma and we play 530 on Tuesday against South Carolina. If Oklahoma comes back, we will play the late game have to have Peterson ready to go Tuesday night. Would be nice to win one more game to submit our opportunity to host
This is how I follow the games so @Gatorgal04 is my lifeline, my pbp, my “voice of the Gators” and I am immensely grateful for her diligence and faithfulness.
This is a gritty Gator team. Pitching has come around and even with no depth left, the guys that are in there battle at the plate. With all the guys out and others playing out of position, not sure how far they can go in the NCAA tournament. But I don;t think any team in the country wants to see Florida in the bracket for Regionals or Supers.
Back from the game. King was very impressive. It is hard to tell from where I sit if several of his pitches were regular change ups or splitters but boy did they dive at the plate. I am guessing the ones thrown in 0-2 and 1-2 counts might be splitters. Our fielding was not impressive. By rule there were some mistakes that couldn't be called errors otherwise there would have been several more. Still finishing the SEC slate with our record after starting out 1-11 is fantastic.
Another great series win. What a turn around for this team! Would be great to keep that momentum with a deep run in Hoover. Go Gators!
