Guys playing out of position, even of necessity, will eventually come back to bite you. Just a matter of time.

 

The difference is there hitters are putting bat on ball… I keep going back to Lawson and that strike out early. It was a big deal with one out

 

True but at the same time still have to feel a ground ball and at least get one out… And that is looking past the point that if we just put bat on ball, we have at least three if not, four runs on the board

crimson Tide has four runs on only three hits… Meanwhile, we have left seven or eight guys on base

 

Mike Rivera doing an unbelievable job with our catchers… That was all on Brody

 

They've struck out 13 times with 1 out in the 5th. We walked 3 this inning and got a chopper to short. That's not exactly putting their bats on the ball.

 

It's almost as if with our starters out the depth isn't there

 

Just a bad night… Our guys at the plate need to do the simple stuff like put the ball in play and have to play defense. Boser gotta get an out there.

 

When it counts… They only have four hits and have seven runs if that tells you anything!

 

So we need to get 5 runs back

 

I believe we have out hit them and they are beating us by five runs right now… Again they make it count when they have the opportunity. Our guys put bat on ball with runners on base and less than two out, and we have several more runs on the board

 

we can do it!!
