Agree with KR getting some work. Our success will ride on tightening up several aspects of our game, but most definitely will require both precision and accuracy to avoid the walks, hbp and center plate misses that get hammered.
I don't think she has pitched alot this year for Mercer, as she is a freshman but a nice, talented girl, Grace Jones is from Jacksonville and Episcopal HS. Have watched her pitch a bit in HS.
FYI.....Gators are 13 & 0 against Mercer outscoring them 127 - 20. Mercer's best wins this year werre against Ga Tech winning 8 - 5 and winning against Georgia 5 - 2.

Interesting note to add, metric wise we are facing the toughest 4 seed. Mercer coming in with an RPI of 62.
Gator game is going to start late. Colby Shelton's sister Kylie had a 2-out RBI double in the bottom of the 6th to put FAU ahead of Georgia Tech 4-3. But Georgia Tech just tied it up with a 2 out solo HR in the top of the 7th. It's already 4:15, so probably looking for a start time of 5 pm or later, depending on how long this game goes.
once again my pet peeve, trying to squuze a game with no clock into a 2 hour time frame, under/over start time 5:30
We shouldn’t need them going into extras to win this regional. Based on my day I fully expect enough extras to perfectly sync the arrival of frank gay with the start of our game. Fate is against me lol
