Trump makes friends with Al Qaeda leader, says he’ll lift all Syria Sactions

Since the sanctions were against the Assad government, dropping them makes legal and logical sense. The US government loves sanctions though, so give it a few months.

Wondering if we'll get a picture of Trump saluting the former member of Al Qaeda ....

 

Have a feeling Saudi Arabia may be joining in on the Abraham Accords in the near future. If not, at least we get to know who the people are and where they live so we can take the terrorists out later. Can't depend on Israel have a success with pagers again.

 

Democrats, neocons, Israel, Saudi Arabia, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Dick Cheney, Obama, Biden, the CIA, NATO et al have supported Al Qaeda and other radical Islamists/jihadis in Syria beginning ~2007. The US Deep State supported Islamic State as well. Most MAGA types opposed this.

Democrats cheered when Assad fell and was replaced with this 'Al Qaeda guy..'

I would hope that Trump is lifting sanctions on Syria for humanitarian purposes and he will warn/threaten the new Syrian leader to stop killing Alawites and Christians.

Having said that I would not lift sanctions on the Al Qarda head chopper Ahmad al-Sharaa. He was elected by no one in Syria. Trump needs better foreign policy advisors
