Trump is welcoming White Afrikaners while almost simultaneously withdrawing temporary protected status from Afghani refugees making them eligible for deportation back to Afghanistan where they would very likely be persecuted by the Taliban and in the case of those Afghani refugees who aided American troops even possibly losing their lives.

“When it comes to race and immigration issues, the Trump administration is about as subtle as an air raid,”

“While they single out white Afrikaners for special treatment and resettlement, they falsely slander Black and brown refugees and immigrants as dangerous threats and ‘invaders’ — including those who have been vetted with background checks — despite all of the statistical evidence to the contrary,” she added. “It’s inherently hypocritical and ugly, but unfortunately par for the course for this administration.”

Trump welcomes white South Africans while rejecting all other refugees

It's hard to understand your point when you just ...... post a link from a thoroughly non-reputable source, but no comment.

Wondering if you'd like to possibly comment on Trump welcoming the white people you link to after ......... denying people (or their families) from Afghanistan who had literally helped our military and probably saved the lives of US service members.

    Any comment on that?

You do realize that that EFF, a Marxist Party represents 9.7% of the seats in the South African National Assembly? It has virtually no impact on national policy.
By the way this person is a member of the EFF.

Teenager Jess Griesel does not seem the usual red beret-wearing member of South Africa's Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) - the party intent on upsetting the country's political landscape.

She is a 19-year-old white, Afrikaans-speaking undergraduate who was recently elected to the Student Representative Council (SRC) of Cape Town university on an EFF ticket.

Reading Bill takes a lot of nuance, but I think his point is that, according to The Blaze, liberals are upset and gnashing their teeth about this.

Which means Bill couldn't be bothered to add more commentary, as he's too busy dancing shirtless in the streets over how great his golden idol is at trolling liberals.

While Trump is granting asylum to White South Africans, ICE is preparing to deport this refugee from Venezuela. Her crime was protesting the Maduro regime.
    Is Asylum Still Possible?
A young democracy activist fled Venezuela, where the government threatened to arrest her for treason. Now in ICE custody, she knows that she may be quickly deported.

Really good break up letter from the Episcopal Church.

Letter from Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe on Episcopal Migration Ministries

Since January, the previously bipartisan U.S. Refugee Admissions Program in which we participate has essentially shut down. Virtually no new refugees have arrived, hundreds of staff in resettlement agencies around the country have been laid off, and funding for resettling refugees who have already arrived has been uncertain. Then, just over two weeks ago, the federal government informed Episcopal Migration Ministries that under the terms of our federal grant, we are expected to resettle white Afrikaners from South Africa whom the U.S. government has classified as refugees.

In light of our church’s steadfast commitment to racial justice and reconciliation and our historic ties with the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, we are not able to take this step. Accordingly, we have determined that, by the end of the federal fiscal year, we will conclude our refugee resettlement grant agreements with the U.S. federal government.

I want to be very clear about why we made this decision—and what we believe lies ahead for Episcopal Migration Ministries’ vital work.

It has been painful to watch one group of refugees, selected in a highly unusual manner, receive preferential treatment over many others who have been waiting in refugee camps or dangerous conditions for years. I am saddened and ashamed that many of the refugees who are being denied entrance to the United States are brave people who worked alongside our military in Iraq and Afghanistan and now face danger at home because of their service to our country. I also grieve that victims of religious persecution, including Christians, have not been granted refuge in recent months.
