I don’t know if age matters anymore. I mean there are guys still playing college football in their late 20’s. All the rules have apparently been broken and no one seems to care.

 

I will say, only half-jokingly, that I won't be surprised if we soon see unlimited years of eligibility. The colleges might even become farm clubs for the NBA.
