    Could be.
He had a stint at UF, left to coach at N.C. State, won a national championship there, then returned to UF.

I remember it well; scarcely bigger than a high school gym and way crappier than the Hickory Huskers championship game at Butler Gym.
    My memories of it include:
Playing pick-up half court games there.
Reporting as a freshman there to humongous long lines.
Remembering Jeremy Foley (as a student I suppose) taking ticket stubs at entrance.
Watching the cool, colorful dude dusting the floor at halftime while doing some cool moves to the beat of funky music!
Watching my, unbeknownst to me, future wife walk in the gym while every male head playing pick-up turned their heads to check her out!

And, he wore jackets that caused you to think he was severely color-blind!

I was hoping someone had seen and remembered the court sweeper at halftime! It developed into a funny thing fans were howling over. If I recall, he started sweeping on one side just normally; then, as he moved towards the court middle or other side, some funky music started playing from somewhere and he would periodically do a dance move while sweeping. The crowd got into it and he got into it and played it up more as he finished up. Often, his show was better than the game!

Sounds about right. After starting up spontaneously in the beginning, the dance routines "evolved" over the course of time and his hip thrusts got ever more, shall we say, Elvis-like. (...and the actual floor sweeping got ever less ineffective. :D)

    It was good fun!
