Oh. Like PaidinFull, I rarely watch any MLB. I’ll have to ask my son-in-law, who played college baseball.
Sounds to me like he’s a copycat jackass. (We were up 8–1 when I saw this!)
Now, I’m going to watch game today.
I used to say nothing surprises me anymore. I “used to say”……

I think it was Channing Crowder who had a great comment for stuff like this. The quote went something like "man, that ain't nothing but fake juice."

    Go GATORS!

Reads like a discounting of UFs turnaround.
No sympathy for Texas from me. Hard to find any team with more key injuries this year than the Gators.

As for the schedule, yea not everybody gets to start the season on the road vs the defending national champs, i.e. Tennessee. As for playing Mizzou, tell that to the Aggies.

No, just a fact . Whether committee sees it as discount?? no idea. But it certainly was a factor. But its also baked into overall SOS, so no idea how it will be viewed.

I was actually trashing the Texas guy in orig post. Texas has played well above talent most of year IMo, was only point on them. And losing ace may of been last straw.

Everyone has injuries . I could list handful this year, but no one cares. But losing best arm & best bat(all year) is tough. Rooting for UF sweep, as I was before series started.. Never dreamed AU have a shot to finish #1 rpi in reg season.. But do(need UGa losses) & if do I dont need to even watch tourney...;) but will.lol

MEH, not all injuries are equal.

Sounds like you're still lamenting that midyear Auburn/Texas series. Maybe next year Auburn can open the season at home vs Mizzou like LSU and the Tigers can start 3-0. .

nope they are not and Texas had the worst of it imo. SC/UF up there. Whats tex/au have to do w/ anything?? lol au played awful. only i guy produced an rbi. mizzu would of swept them that weekend. Au was just 1 of the 5 horns sweeps. Uga sweep is one Id 'lament' , could of won all 3..but only 2 sec series loses in last 10 are to #1 & #2 at time. so no complaints, even w/ both being sweeps

Again whats AU sched have to do w/ anything. But id much rather end w/ bottom of league than start w/ it .. I think..

Obviously there are unbalanced schedules every year, much more even/random now at least. .. Just hope they dont value all league wins equally.. they say they dont , but?? Only way it could affect UF is if in a group(of sec) fighting for last host. MSU not being 14th should help a little..;)

I've been waiting and hoping to re-post this.
Bill, I'm sure you have got a few Gator wins under your belt since this. But... this was still the first time the Gators went into Austin playing the Longhorns as a new SEC foe, and the Numero Uno foe at that, and came out the victor. So Bill, this SEC series win is for you and Alan. So kick back and enjoy a cold one and give Alan a big hug next time you see him. Then say GO GATORS from all of us here at GC.

Thanks a lot man. This one does run especially deep and it will be a great celebration. I’ll make sure Alan gets the sentiment passed along. This one is special for all of Gator Nation!
