Baseball at TX, Sat 5/10 - re-start 5:30

Sully should have went with our top guys in relief… McDonald and Jake should’ve been the first two guys. You take the series and then anything that happens on Sunday is gravy… Don’t get me wrong I loved CROD as the first guy but once you pulled him, you had to go with McDonald and Jake and take the series.
Tell me this, Jake hasn’t pitched one inning in the series and could he not have thrown 3 to 4 innings like he does in other games?

 

Didn't quite interpret the directions right, but I'll give you some credit for the leadoff walk....

 

Sully knows how limited our bullpen is so I have no idea why we did not bring in McDonald or maybe even Jake to finish the game. Could’ve won the series with our top guy. We went conservative and now we are facing a major uphill battle, as they have major arms in their pen

Fyi, Barberi has better season stats than McDonald. More innings pitched, better ERA. Why are you not happy Sully went to him in that situation?
