Again, it takes more time, effort, and work to accomplish efficiency with the curveball. It’s not everyone who can throw both curveball and slider. A lot of guys end up when trying to throw both making a slurve out of both pitches. Basically it comes down to the individual pitcher as to who can be pushed to develop a top tier curveball.
2B last night, 1B today. I believe this qualifies for a Jeff Head Watch tomorrow... conditions are favorable for Jeff Head to be behind the plate. (Even his own colleague looks annoyed with him...)
