Who would have thought that entering an alligator’s habitat was the leading cause of alligator attacks on humans!!! That’s just mind blowing!

It’s almost as enlightening as learning that the vast majority of shark attacks on humans occur in the water.

Pretty sure that photo is a gator. Too short and wide of a snout for a croc

Or that the highest rate of human on human attacks happen in the hood.

    Right here
It is an ambiguous photo, so it took me a bit to determine, but I am pretty sure it is a gator. The lower jaw is what finally convinced me.

Gators are generally much darker than that though.

It looks like it could be a Chinese alligator. They have really short looking heads. Or it could just be a weird angle but definitely a gator.

Arguably the best 8-5 team ever, as if that’s a thing

    Perhaps that’s an “androgynous” crocodilian?

I saw some impressive crocodiles on a recent river cruise in Malaysia. They were lightning quick when they needed to be. The longest was only 6-7' long, but this was near a (small) city. The tour boat driver would ask the smallest child on the boat to go up to the front and lean over to watch the croc. Once the boat got close enough, the croc would whip his tail against the water and shoot off at a high rate of speed, scaring everyone on the boat, especially the child.
