Who would have thought that entering an alligator’s habitat was the leading cause of alligator attacks on humans!!! That’s just mind blowing! It’s almost as enlightening as learning that the vast majority of shark attacks on humans occur in the water.
It is an ambiguous photo, so it took me a bit to determine, but I am pretty sure it is a gator. The lower jaw is what finally convinced me.
It looks like it could be a Chinese alligator. They have really short looking heads. Or it could just be a weird angle but definitely a gator.
I saw some impressive crocodiles on a recent river cruise in Malaysia. They were lightning quick when they needed to be. The longest was only 6-7' long, but this was near a (small) city. The tour boat driver would ask the smallest child on the boat to go up to the front and lean over to watch the croc. Once the boat got close enough, the croc would whip his tail against the water and shoot off at a high rate of speed, scaring everyone on the boat, especially the child.
What’s a bit more embarrassing is that Zooker looks pretty good in comparison to most of the coaches since he left.
