Not to get too political but the other part is having such a small number of appointed people with so much power.
Of course Wanne, you are exactly right. UF better be spittin out some billionaires to compete in this game. Cap? Collusion? Equality? LMAO, the cheatin has gone from the local Car Dealers level to Corporate mainstream. College football trophies will be purchased by the highest bidders, at a whim, to satisfy personal egos. The entities that will control the sport have LEGIONS of lawyers to cover every track. They can cheat all they want. At least the NFL has "some" rules.
Its hard to cheat much in the nfl because they have developed a tried and true system. Its also based on money generated from the league and floats as a business model. Boosters if willing can spend far more than the teams are generating. I think a smaller league of 30-40 teams that are legitimate profitable organizations would have to have some kind of cap and possibly profit sharing to ever make a fair system. Future generations of fans wont support the teality of what we have now which is no chance at all of success if they cant afford similar talent.
Exactly, that's why College Football will become NFL light and the players will be hired and paid, I presume, by the Universities or some management group hired by the Universities. I have parroted this since the start. It's inevitable IMO - OR the game will continue unregulated and simply be controlled by the highest bidders / wealthiest individuals or corporations in the USA or perhaps, (think Saudi LIV for example), in the world.
Nothing personal. I just disagree that it's Cormani time.....IMO he showed a lot of the same issues in the spring game that were exposed in the Texas game last season. The upside is certainly still apparent, but I'm not sold he actually knows how to play the position within the scheme. I also think Dijon will be fine
There have been great players that have not played within a scheme. LT, go get the ball. Revis, Dion, just cover the best receiver no matter where he lines up. Ten man defense.
Let's not put him in Canton quite yet If Deion didn't put him on the field that should tell us something. Again, I think he has incredible potential, but what i have seen thus far is greater liability....as have multiple staffs
I’ll be curious to see how this plays out. I would think any limits set, even by executive order, would be challenged and lose just like the ncaa rules
