Announces retirment. Just could never overvome the gruesome lege injury. Despote the injury, the Jets drafted him in the 5th round. He never came off the injury list.

That sucks. I hope he is able to use his education and likeness to still make a decent living for himself.

Dude got the hell beat out of him playing QB in tally. Very tough, competitive kid. I do wish him well.

Amazing competitor. Wished he had been a Gator.
Our W-L record would have been much improved over BN's first 2 years.
I hate the Noles but I loved Travis.

Time to invest the $275K, call it a good start, and finish getting a useful degree. His professional life is just beginning and he’s off to a better start than most

    “Finish getting a useful degree”…
So maybe he has enough FSU basket weaving credits to transfer to UF for that?

Travis makes the third mile player I respect. I’ve met all three and while I HATE that football team, all three were good dudes.

Why would he have been paid for his entire contract? The jets got nothing from him at all and he walks away after being paid at least a 3/4 mill. Sounds like he got a pretty good deal to me.
