USA to ramp up spying on Greenland

You mean like we have for the last 80 years? Where we've never received a "no" in return? Also, have the morons given any thought to the cost of absorbing another country? You know, given that the payout - if there is any - for Greenland (melt) is a decade or two away?

 

It's all political theater. In end the Greenland and/or Denmark will enter into an agreement with the US allowing American companies to extract minerals from Greenland and possibly an agreement allowing the US to establish other military bases in Greenland in addition to the Pituffik Space Base formerly the Thule Air Base which has been in Greenland in one form or another since World War II. When the agreement(s) are signed Trump will probably hold a ceremony proclaiming another great victory as part of his goal of restoring American greatness.

 

perhaps but it’s my understanding historically Denmark has been very generous in its allowing us to use the territory.
