    I’m not so sure such an early exit doesn’t impact our postseason positioning. Let’s face it, our conference record wasn’t great, 14-10. If it counted, this would be our 11th conference loss. And this kind of performance has to affect the team psyche. I mean, it starts to look like maybe OU wasn’t playing up to par since they knew they’d won the regular season title. Just a downer in so many ways.

    I don't look at it that way..please don't water down the team's series win over the #1 team
    I look at it as
    .I hate that my team was 1 and done in the tournament

    If we can pull this out, I think the positive repercussions will follow for a while. Softball (and baseball) seem to operate on momentum.
