I don't disagree, but the reality is trending heavily towards experienced transfers, especially in the backcourt. I expect Ingram will play this season, but a lot depends on who is on hand. We know that CTG's metrics point him to an 8- or 9-man regular rotation.

Another downside is that there were not many midmajors advancing in the NCAAT. They're losing all their top players to the Power Conferences. I don't like it, but it brought us a national championship. THAT, I like.

    That’s chump change for UK….
UK, the NY Yankees of college basketball. I foresee a huge cluster mess with that squad….
In terms of character, humility, and heart, our three NC teams are really special.

Gators baseball was pretty good under Arnold during that time.

I made my point badly. True about our baseball - and generally true about all sports: we were OK. Not a gimme. But no national rep for anything great, like we have today. Our overall % in football for instance was pretty good over time. But never consistently winning the “big one” whether UGA or the SEC giants.

Caught a You Tube clip of a short interview yesterday with two guys talking with coach via video feed while he was in California, chillin on the boardwalk.

Todd said That Tommy H, Chin and Condo (If Chin and Condo come back) would be the starters. Acknowledged UF was a bit surprised
by Denzels departure, but wished him nothing but the best, Lee was projected to start at the point, no real comment about who would be the #2 guard, and that he was Recruiting / Transfer Portal shopping like crazy.

Said he hasn't had much time to reflect on the Championship yet.

Todd gives great but measured interviews. He is very polished about what he says IMO, keeps it real, but respectful, always giving credit to his mentors.

What a great hire for the Gators!

Some might think that Joakim was just a pot smoker but he was DRIVEN to succeed. He took his lumps his freshman season and came back a MUCH better player. That took lots of hard word and discipline and those are not attributes that most people associate with pot smokers. Biggest soph jump I have ever seen.
