That's the only knock I have on Cam Ward and hopefully he regrets that decision. Otherwise he seems like a pretty good kid. I hope you learned a lesson

 

Nope,. Phillips was definitely a way worse person, but he was not the distraction that Sanders is.

 

Sadly. I think the dude beat a girl up and was dragging her down stairs by her hair, or something awful like that.

 

That's right. And Osburne said he would never wear a Nebraska uniform again. This was 1995 but that's my memory of it.

Then we get to the Fiesta Bowl and lo and behold- there's Phillips tearing up the backfield.
Funny how that worked.

Back to the topic- no way no how is Shadeur or Deion comparable to Phillips.
I could be wrong, but I bet Shadeur is a decent kid who just needed a reality check.

 

On that last point, I was impressed with the way he and the entire family handled it. They rolled with it, made jokes, etc. when they were clearly a bit shaken. No sour grapes, no crying, no finger pointing (they left that to the Kipers of the world).

And let's be honest. He 'ain't starving anytime soon. Hopefully takes the reality check and makes the best of it. But he'll be fine either way. The Sanders' left Dunbar a long time ago.

 

The comparison of Sanders to Phillips is entirely inappropriate, and that is the most civil way I can state it. I'd prefer a worse adjective but will hold that fire. It boggles my mind to even think of them as comparable and I urge that poster to consider the implications of it.

 

But if Rice wasnt on video knocking his girl out, he eouldve gotten another 1500 yards the next season. Now, a daddy on espn would get it shut down quick

 

i live in the Nashville area and I believe the Titans scored big. Cam Ward QB, Chemire Dike wr, that alone shows that they have mean business. Free agency will fill some of their gaps. They will show improvement. Cam was the difference in Miami this year from day one. We couldn’t slow him down, I expect with his talent if Callaway the coach doesn’t do well, there will be a new coach.

 

Well, possibly if he decides that its in his interest to play more than one half of each game.

 

And yet, UM came up short. . . Again!!! . . . after more chest thumping about "Da U being BACK!!!!"

Should just change the name from Hurricanes to Wolf Tickets.
