Great that he did that. Have always loved Corey. Not only was he MOP of tournament, but without him Noah and Horford don’t come back. So he is basically the reason we got our second championship!
Great to see that after winning the NC and projected as high as late 1st round, that Haugh is still doing his homework, taking school seriously
Corey is one of my favorite Gators ever. It doesn't matter but I wish he took off a bit more in the NBA. Great, humble dude that came back for his team forgoing a boat load of money to run it back again. Cant get much better than that considering his financial situation not to mention if you compare him to the others.
I agree, as much as Joakim Noah and Al Horford got all the deserved praise for those two Nattys, I always liked Corey Brewer because he was so damned good yet extremely humble... I love that about him... his attitude. The story about his dad when he spent time in the hospital was sad to hear about, too. Check out that story if you aren't familiar with it.
Everything I have ever seen Corey Brewer do or say, on court or off, in uniform or out, has only burnished his reputation for me. He is, like Patric Young, a man to be held up as exemplary in so many ways other than basketball.
This was a great interview. Corey is one of my favorite Gators. He’s the reason I alway hope we get a 6’7” or above wing. He was a Swiss Army knife, on both ends, for our back-to-back teams. Plus, just the legacy feel of the interview, and him telling our “ bench guys”, it’s your time to “ step up”.
Freaking Al Horford in Celtics Game 5 series win over Magic...started, 34 minutes, tied for most in game. +/- of +28. 35 minutes the game before.
I’ve done that once or twice and was thoroughly excoriated. Personally, I never look at how a post is rated nor do I too much care. (except, of course, my posts!)
