Which Non-Conference teams would you like Florida to schedule with in 2026?

A bit of a joke but maybe schedule a neutral site game in Perth, Australia.

 

Hinkle is iconic.

 

Flew out to that one and was very underwhelmed by Hinkle. Obviously with its history it was cool, but very little atmosphere and stood in lines for ages for food and drink. Didn’t help we played horribly.

 

But Butler was probably good then. Not so much now. Still an awesome venue.

 

Naw, I want to play a team that we have at least a puncher's chance of beating...

 

Oh, since we are getting provincial and not strategic in our thought process:

I say the University of Richmond. Why Richmond and not VCU or VUU? Because they play downtown and Richmond is close to where I live. If it were a nice day, I could ride my bike to the game instead of having to put up with the parking issue around their arena. Downtown in Richmond is a HUGE pain to get to a game. I could take the bus (it is free) but the timing and all is not that convenient. But VUU is somewhat off the bus line where the Seigel Center is right on it.

any tournament that St. John's is in

 

Pretty much a home game for UConn but we will take it.

And maybe the UConn coach will whine about officiating after the game even though his team got a very friendly whistle.

UConn & AZ already in (don’t know of any others sans FSU). Add in…

…and a handful of Stetsons & JUs, along with FSU. And it’s decent mix.

 

Don’t forget New College. What a game that would be.

 

They should be a top 3 team at that time, right? Great matchup
