NFL fines Atlanta Falcons $250,000 and DC Jeff Ulbrich $100,000 for draft day prank call

We should start a GoFundMe for the DC. I would chip in even though I dislike the Falcons. I dislike the Sanders even more.

 

Seems a little ridiculous, a fine sure, but $350,000?

 

I won't attempt to project my assets (or should I say lack of) onto others, but what I think you are missing is the level needed to feel the "ouch". If it were the owner, it would be in the millions. And if it were the janitor (obviously not) then it would be something WAY less, although they would have been fired and nothing would have been said. Methinks a DC will say "ouch" but not all that loud. But it sounds LOUD to plenty of us.

Moral hazard comes in many levels. I may find supermodel level prostitutes fascinating entities but never to the point of compelling interest. But if I ever got to a financial level to where I thought that $10,000 in payment for goods received is like what I think $1 is to me today, then that level of hazard may in fact manifest.

The son needs a lesson in what is moral hazard and what is real money.

One of the NFL shows reported Deion wanted to talk to the Cleveland General Manager in the same call that Cleveland called Shedeur to tell him they drafted him. I don’t know if this is true; if it is accurate, you might speculate why he was drafted so low
by NFL teams, in addition to his poor showing at the combine, as has been reported. I have no ill will towards Shedeur, seems like a nice young man although I could care less about his $100k gold necklace. I have never cared for his self-absorbed father and his outlandish histrionics.

My kids, " what the eff is a colliege fund?" If you have one, you arent worried about it. My kids get theirs from the gi bill or or a job.
