I'm interested how she does. If I remember correctly the last time she had to throw a lot of pitches and in hugh stress situations she didn't do great the 2nd time out

 

If Landry starts she won't go all the way after throwing 140+ in game 1, sec locked up and post season looming.

When I saw CTW was starting our #4 or #5 pitcher against the number one team in the country, I just wanted to go kick him in an unmentionable area. Gators had no chance of winning. Gators win by 5. Fantastic. As usual, I'm wrong again. Go Gators

 

It worked because they probably hadn't prepped much for her at all. I was really worried after the first but she battled and did enough

 

This post aged very well. Your #4 pitcher goes through the OU lineup twice. Yes, it's her Senior Day but cash out before rolling snake eyes.

Clearly like you say, the wheels were starting to come off. Unfortunately CTW left her in until crash and burn. Everyone seated around me agreed with you begging for her to come out.

 

Kara was awesome, one untimely meatball to one of their best hitters and she knew what to do with it. But the hitters were outstanding and defense was clean, especially 3B.

Fun game, great crowd, hope the locker room stuff works itself out. Really impressed by how anybody can step up on this team.

Huh? That post wanted her pulled in the 4th.....she struck out two and a comeback for a scoreless and hitless inning in the 4th.
Imo that was huge getting another inning from her, limited the looks at Brown

I am a little concerned about Oxleys mental game right now. She jsut looks a little tight. Shoulders slumped big when she thought she gave up the homer on thst ball Kendra caught. It was all over her face and her reaction.

 

I agree ..she is not ready and is not wanting the ball right now.

 

We have the best hitters in the country. We have one of the most struggling pitching staffs in the SEC and are the only team in the SEC operating without a pitcher who can pitch 7 innings. Now is the time to ride your aces and we do not have that!

 

Going into the post season, it is time for Coach Steph to do “her magic” with our pitching staff, earn her reputation. She can do this.

 

I think coming on in relief for that nightmare against LSU really knocked her hard, I felt terrible for her and Liv.
Maybe she needs to get the start so she doesn't feel like the whole game is riding on her shoulders, rather than relieving when the stakes are so high?

 

I love the fire 00 Ava brings to the circle in relief. She is the afterburner of this pitching staff.
