Awesome, clutch 2-out HR from Shumaker. Hammock got hit hard in the top of the 3rd. Fortunately 2 of them were right at us. If I were coach, I would start a reliever in the top of the 4th instead of waiting until Tara gets in trouble. She's done well limiting OU to 1 run through 3 innings, but I wouldn't risk it any longer.

 

Asking more from Kara or any pitcher is too much. Make a change while ahead and momentum is on your side.

 

Need more runs, run rule with insurance to spare.

Well, I was wrong once again - And gladly. That's why I'm watching on TV and the HOF coach is in the dugout. But I would NOW definitely bring in a reliever for the 5th.
