Game 2 Gators came close, went to 9 innings in Game 1. Lost by 1 run Gators can rebound and tie up the series Friday May 2 at 6 pm @KSP On SEC N Go Gators!
I think you're right. However, I don't think any of our pitchers can throw a complete game against a quality opponent. While we got to Oklahoma's ace tonight for 5 runs, she was very good and didn't allow us many squared up, hard hit balls. She, also, made some very clutch pitches to keep us from scoring several times and kept us from walking it off 3 different times. So I would say Oxley starts, but someone will relieve her by the middle of the game. The question is Who?
It's likely OU will have already won the regular season since Tennessee is besting A&M. Maybe they won't be as focused
They weren’t close to their best last night and yet they win. In any case I don’t want a handout victory and I doubt they’ll give it to us regardless of what the other teams are doing. We want to win then we’ll have to earn it and I sure hope we do.
Pray it’s indigestion and not stomach virus. That s brutal. I pray to a new god now, it calls itself toilet.
I don’t think Mike Tyson knew he was quoting history in a way when he said everyone has a plan until they get hit. But he was. It goes more like the best laid plans of war go in toilet once the first arrow/bullet is fired. Idk if our team has a plan, plan in batters box need to change if there is one. Guarantee Oklahoma has a plan, their plan is 5. There isn’t a team in the country that can stop them except our Gators. Idk if we earn a top 8 seed right now. That seed is important but ultimately irrelevant if the team doesn’t coalesce RIGHT now, adopt a WAR mentality and go to war, take no prisoners. Hit everyone from here on out hard, hit fast and show no mercy, especially if it’s Oklahoma. Never take the foot off the gas pedal. Nothing to lose. Play loose, free but also with a bit of anger. Just do it!
