All it takes is someone to step up and play their best ball and to light a fire under everyone. My take is that is ava brown.
With this team, at least with the offense, it’s all about the match-ups. We so struggle with the change and drop. Regardless of the pitching strategy we face at the plate, I don’t see the adjustments in the box other teams seem to make.
Even with our struggles in the SEC, as of this morning the Gators are ranked #2 in RPI and #1 in SOS. Oklahoma is #3 in RPI, but only #25 in SOS. Even though we are ranked anywhere from 7th to 11th in the "regular polls", I think we just need to win a game or two this weekend to almost guarantee a Top 8 seed, IMO. The selection committee almost always rewards RPI and SOS in the tournament seeding.
Ava is certainly a who can fire up the team. Kendra in the cheering up the team has been a leader. She picks the uniforms and she leads the cheers just before the game.
Isn’t it ironic if we win 3 against Ok we can still tie for second and get a top 5 seed but lose 3 we are just another mid-pack team without a national seed.
What we need is for a senior to step up and be something like top 5 in batting average, hits, and runs scored in SEC games, and it wouldn't hurt if this player could also be the only player in the league to have more than 1 triple in those conference games. Something like that might look like leadership, perhaps. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS

I know she didn't have a good weekend. But it's based on all year and she still has good numbers. Taylors bat went MIA for half the season if we're basing it like that.
Oops.sorry. We had posters that demoted her to lower positions in the batting order because she didn't get a hit every at bat.
