I usually don't listen to these guys but they had an hour long debate if a 100 men could beat one big Silver back gorilla. Some of the funniest radio I've ever listened to. While working I usually have ESPN radio in the background just for noise but that was hilarious.

I have been sucked into this in a group chat with buddies. Let me tell you it's more divisive than it should be. Yes a gorilla is larger than the avg man, yes it is much stronger, and yes it is a wild animal. However, it is not a GOT giant and it's not king Kong. If you take avg men 5'10 180 lbs I think you're looking at 30 men being able to take it. If you could hand pick the men, I think 10 NFL Olinemen, Brock Lesnar, Eddie hall, and the mountain would get it done.

My buddy saw Colossus the Gorilla get pissed and slap the too of the palm tree of in our zoo here. I think every swing that gorilla takes is killing folks.
If they have weapons, sure. What you gonna do to a gorilla, punch him. Im not sure he would feel Foremans punch.
This, the gorilla would win for one simple reason, no matter which guys you pick, only about 5 or 6 guys could get close enough at a time to do anything to it. Punching the animal would do nothing so you are looking at some kind of grappling techniques and how many dudes can you put on one arm, 3 or 4? Unless you start gouging his eyes or something but that might just make him madder. I have too much time on my hands.
Motivation would have to be factored in no doubt. 100 death row prisoners, they win their freedom if they survive? I think the gorilla is in for a long day.
Only chance would be if you think some guy could get it in a sleeper hold. Don't know if that would work on a gorilla or not.
Maybe 5 on 1 till the gorilla has a heart attack or he gills them one by one. Theres nothing we can do to hurt him without weapons
