From the article: " Aberdeen proved he deserved a starting role in UF’s backcourt in 2025-26 and was set to take on that role next season". Nooo, what he proved was thas he desrverd a chance at competing for the starting role. Can you imagine the other guys that came in were told that they were competing for the backup role???

time to stop rubber necking (myself incldued) and let this car crash die on the vine. I'm over the Aberdeen drama

Well as someone that has enjoyed a bit of a retrospective since the Houston game, watching highlights of almost every game of this championship season, I have to say I "wince" at all the great moments and plays Denzel brought during his time off the bench and on the court.

But as they say, onward and upward. Outside of Urban K and maybe Brown, (the younger) it will be a very different rotation next season. A very tough ask to replace Clayton, Richard and Martin. Todd has some good ingredients and hopefully with another pickup or two, UF will be in the running to make serious noise in the SEC and perhaps at the national level again.

Very true. But I think Condon & Reuben have to come back and Handlogten has to get back to playing the way he did before his devastating injury for us to be a serious contender next year. Those 3 guards we had were so good together, we'll almost assuredly take a step back in the quality of guard play next season and so the bigs will have to be more productive to balance things out. At least that's how I see it.

Todd alluded to it briefly and others have suggested as much, less perimeter game and more attacking down low with the big's scoring or grabbing offensive rebounds for second or third looks.

Clayton, Richard, Martin and Aberdeen were just so good from the perimeter, but on the other side of it, if all the big's come back I don't think it's a stretch to think they will all be improved offensively. Plus I think Tommy H will be a legit threat from 3 and hopefully Condo can pick up his medium to 3 point shooting %.

Regardless of the offensive scheme I trust Todd will have UF well positioned to be very good this upcoming season.
