May will be important for Coaches visiting High Schools. Follow the visits. UF has some very important visit weekends scheduled in June. I will try and get accurate list as we get closer. As of this moment, a lot of talent scheduled to visit. A couple DL to watch. Tavion Branch, the 2-way lineman was offered by UF recently and UF is working to get an OV from Branch. UF is looking at him on the DL as opposed to OL. Branch does not have a clear leader, so a visit is crucial. Tyson Bacon, decommit from the Vols. Possible that UF tries to get in on the 285 lb. D-lineman. DL Kendall Guervil tweeted a top 10. I usually don't give much Creedance to top 10 list but in this case, I feel UF is in the top 3 or 4. The composite 4* DL is from Fort Meyers has visited UF a few times and will visit again in June. DB Dillon Tatum, played at Michigan State last year and is visiting the Gators. Mutual interest from both parties. Would most likely compete at safety or Star if he decides on UF. OLB Jake Kreul out of IMG, has visited several times. His recruitment is far from over, but I believe UF has continued to gain ground with Kreul. UF is very active at IMG this year and will sign an IMG guy or 3. A few names I feel good about at this juncture, C.J Hester, Malik Morris, Jareylan McCoy who has set a commitment date of July 1st. Not recruiting related but a topic came up about the NC Basketball team vs. the back-to-back championship teams of 06 and 07. While I love this year's team, I still think the Noah/Horford team would win 4 out of 5 times. It's fun to imagine but, we will never know for sure. With that in mind, here are my top 5 Gator FB teams of all time. 1. 2006 2. 1996 3. 1984 4. 2008 5. 2001 Candy
I thought the 1991 team was up there talent-wise but they flat out didn’t show up at Syracuse or for the bowl game.
Interestingly I heard spurs say in an interview that (i think he was talking about assistant coaches), "I was talked into changing some things" including kick overages, for Syracuse (remember they took the opening kick to the house) and he opined - that was the LAST TIME I let somebody talk me out of doing things MY WAY.
If youre going to suffer the consequences, you might as well be making the decisions. I remember screaming at my tv in the second half of an auburn game for Spurrier to " run tge damn ball" but he didnt listen to me at all.
