Sitting here depressed, somewhat disgusted and greatly disappointed. Makes me wonder about things that I know nothing about. Is there something going on in the background. Too much delegated authority? Why aren’t hitters making adjustments. Slowness to change pitchers.. no small ball. What do you think?
I think this team jsut needs someone to step up leadership wise and they all need to get their mentality right. This team has all the talent in the world just have to fire on all cylinders. Tim has done talk after talk with them trying to fire them up. Are finals this week? Whenever they are i expect them to come out firing and hunting for OKC. I'm not ready to give up yet... Keagen is looking more and more like herself and the offense has come back around. Defemse did look a lot cleaner for the most part this week. Obviously not a good end of the weekend...but we're right there.
Could be one of those unusual years where the SEC tournament has relevance. Back in December, I wrote the post below and got *hammered* from all sides!
Listened to the softball america podcast today during their bracket episode and the staff stated that no matter win or lose the next few weeks, they see the floor seeding for this team at 7/8.
As of today, our team ERA for all games is 2.86. That's 8th among SEC teams. Ava Brown has our lowest ERA at 2.56. That's #13 among SEC pitchers. Katelyn Oxley is next at 2.62 - that's #17. Keagan Rothrock is at 3.08, which is 28th. Tara Hammock is 3.74, 37th in the SEC. In SEC games only, our team ERA is 4.32, which is 8th best in the conference. Our best pitcher in SEC play is Ava Brown, with an ERA of 3.32, 13th in the conference. Oxley is at 3.61, #14. Rothrock's conference ERA is 5.60, #32 among the 37 pitchers listed.
I think there's one important stat that tells you who's who in the SEC. There are two teams that have not allowed a triple in conference play this year, and those two teams are going head to head this weekend. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS

What's inaccurate about my post? I stand by what i posted. You may think that comparing our team to all SEC teams is a better comparison, instead of all division 1 teams as i posted, but that doesn't make what i posted inaccurate.
You are correct. I misread your post and will take that statement about you being inaccurate out of my reply above. I thought you said none of our pitchers have an ERA above 2.50, but you said below. My bad and thanks for pointing that out.

This weekend is huge. If they get swept stick a fork in them. Win one and there is still some hope. Win two or more and they will be serious contenders to win the WCWS. Go Gators.
