The types of changes that I believe will need to be made to adapt to the near future go much further than handouts for pet projects - further than any 20th century ism.

Oh, I agree with that. I dont think its enough to be like "hey we have this targeted voucher program to help people buy your widgets more easily."

I was thinking this is the electronics store wars of the 1990s and 2000s where there was enough room for one. If the same is true of crafts stores I’d put my money on Hobby Lobby.

The only thing gone unnoticed is City mocking you guys for doing this crap during the Biden admin, not that he actually believes it’s a reflection of the Trump economy (as if any one business is a reflection of the robustness of the economy).

Yep. It is interesting to see how economics supports a certain brand — not open on Sunday and its employees can’t get certain healthcare.

It’s certainly been a struggle for the Chick-fil-a brand ;)

100%. Private companies that lean into a pre-captive market have a competitive advantage. You don’t need all the customers, just enough.

Hobby Lobby's merchandise mix is less about fabric sales and more about their craft and home decor products.

Let's see how they fare in 6 to 12 months with the tremendous quantity of their products imported from China.

What’s surprising (not) is that we went from blaming President Biden for the price of every item in America to letting the current President off the hook for direct market destruction. The right is shifty. It’s like a game.

^ Totally agree. But it's also a commentary on which group of people are willing believe a firehose of lies.

And for the record, I think you also forgot that FEMA gave all their money to illegal immigrants. That happened at the end of Biden's presidency too.
