The only Fsu coach I liked was Hugh Durham. When he was at fsu I met him at a high school game where he was watching a player..cant recall who. Saw him later at another and we sat next to each other, he knew I was a gator thru and thru, but pointed out a lot about players , plays etc. Really personable man. Couldn't help but like Hugh.
You may be right. Community colleges have much smaller classrooms than big universities for a lot of subjects. I took calculus and physics at a community college before transferring to UF. Small classrooms. Easier to ask questions and to get help than in one of these stadium classrooms.
[QUOTE="GatorLurker, post: I hate to admit it but FSU is actually a decent school. So are a number of other state schools like Florida Atlantic, USF and UCF. [/QUOTE] For some programs, perhaps. I will say that UCF produces some good engineers. About USF... my brother got his engineering degree at UF. He says he has no idea what USF is teaching their engineering students because they don't seem to know anything. About anything. FSU has produced some very good professionals in the sector of the food services industry that specializes in speed, and possibly in the custodial arts.
His wife was my sixth grade teacher. Nice lady, very graceful and @ pretty lady. Hugh was respectful and a good coach.
