    2024 College Football Transfer Portal

40 percent of those entering the transfer portal do not have a team currently. Over 1500 players that would have to pay their own way for college next year as a result. Perhaps overestimating their own worth or program interest, especially for a one year rental player that is not a starter. NIL deals are not there. Summer rosters are somewhat established.

If they were interested in the classroom, they wouldn’t be in the portal unless they were pushed. Players that have good grades and lose their scholarship unwillingly is pretty sad but for many that’s not the case.

This wasn’t meant to be funny. Dude was a Gator and quit. Now he supposedly wants back? That’s the last I heard on this - has any discussion taken place between Mr. Nunnery and Mr. Napier?
Personally I wish this would just go away

We all like to speculate and that's why forums exist but this is one subject that I don't bothering thinking about at all. As fans, We are critical of play calls, game management, recruiting etc but there is no way the staff isn't going to make the right move one way or the other on this. Something this sensitive to locker room attitude isn't going to be taken lightly and if they welcome him back I have no doubt he will have some terms set to satisfy. I don't see this as taking a chance on someone like we did with Brenton Cox for many reasons. Brenton was an outsider and unknown commodity when we were desperate for talent. We don't have to take him back although he could definitely be a contributor judging by the spring game.

This is actually a pretty long thread for a player that had a marginal impact in his one year on the team and if brought back would have a marginal impact this year. And, he isn’t currently on the team. Ah, the off season.

Full disclosure, I stopped reading your post after you said we are not the only shoe bandits..... please inquiring minds want to know, who else gave away a big game after throwing shoe? I thought for sure that was a Gator special....

Off the top of my head, BYU players have done it more than once. Don’t know if it cost them a game or not. It happened in another game within weeks of marco’s fiasco too, but went unpenalized, and I don’t remember what game it was.
