Infotainment not news. Call the cable channels what they are. Decisions on what to broadcast are based on what will get the most eyeballs not what the truth is. The internet is worse.

Sigh. I get that a certain amount of that is purely partisan. Conservatives are going to claim everything is bad now but was great under trump. (Look at how many thought the economy got worse under Obama.) But this goes beyond that.

Well if true, you Dems have to own it. You and your conjoined twin, the Teacher’s Unions have owned and controlled the vast majority of schools for 40 years or so.

Something tells me it’s not tasting as well coming up as it did going down.

I think we're too large for a democracy, not too stupid.

Apparently the founding fathers figured that one out about 300 million people ago.

When you go and vote yes or no on an amendment for the state Constitution, what form of governance is that?

This country 100% deserves to have Trump as its president. We’ll see if we get what we deserve.

Funny you say that when most of the time the " we are not a democracy" sematic bullshit gets trotted out here , it is the conservative posters doing it.

while that is true you have a younger generation getting news from Tic Tock where they say we are in a “silent depression” and genocide Joe is killing innocent Palestinian babies.

If Trump wins it won’t be because of the information maga fools that have always worshipped Trump, it will be the low information voters on the left who have gone off the reservation.

No dear leftist moderator, that’s not how it works and not what I’m saying, but nice try.

The topic is uninformed and uneducated population. If we’re going to talk about that we have to talk about the parties who created it. It damned sure wasn’t that way until 20-30 years ago when you all took over the public school system.

Nonsense. Turn the tables, and we'd be pushing 19 pages of the same take, stated 19 different ways, with a generous serving of of posts attacking the source...

The teachers unions are much more concerned with economic issues like pay and hours. I do not ever recall when the content of curriculum was a significant issue when the unions have negotiated their contracts.

Teachers don't get paid enough to put up with the crap that they have had to endure here in Flariduh.
Truth is the republicans want to do away with public schools, they have so for the last 30 years. We voted for smaller classrooms here and they found a way to keep that from happening. We voted for the lottery to help fund public schools, so they cut the budget for public schools. Now we are forced to pay for schools that aren't even schools with teachers teaching God knows what, that aren't even teachers. Also give the rich a nice discount on their private schools. We paid almost a quarter of a million for home schoolers to buy treadmills! Yay. But it's the liberals fault. Uh huh.
