Given that Nikki got 15-20% of R votes in primaries long after she quit running, it would be politically astute for Trump to use her as VP to get some of those votes.

Pretty much on brand for her. Go whichever way the wind blows.

It would be the smartest move for him getting elected but I highly doubt he is going to select anybody but a total sycophant.

There are plenty of people that might be as good or better. But... Nikki wants a Cabinet position, IMHO.

Trump's looking for someone who's more than willing to commit treason to keep him in power. As bad as Haley is, I don't think she'll do that.

Probably more accurate to say he acts in his handlers best interest. While Trump acts in his own best interest.

I doubt either one actually says, what is the best thing for l_boy and tilly?

I find it weird that nobody is ever able to post an even remotely accurate description of who "Biden's handlers" are.

Well, other than the kooks who post about elite, Soros-funded communist billionaires and such.

Well i never post about elite, Soros-funded communist billionaires and such. And there is no way a man of his age and abilities is waking up every morning with the same abilities of a Clinton, Bush or Obama. He just isnt... And they all had handlers too. The DNC would be a good place to start.

Are you new to American politics? They all have handlers brother. Trump is just a step worse in that he wont even listen to them.

Oh. So Biden is just taking advice from presumably, and probably, pretty expert people that he surrounds himself with. As all Presidents have done and do.

So it's all pretty standard then. For a second it seemed like you were just repeating a version of the tired right-wing line of nonsense that Biden isn't really even doing his job, because he's just too old. Glad that isn't the case.

While I think she would be his strongest VP candidate Trump's ego is such that he would never select anyone who had the audacity to run against him as his running mate. I suspect that the main reason that she endorsed him was to preserve a potential presidential candidacy for the 2028 election.

No. I just think its a fallacy that the POTUS is anything more than a power hungry figure head. The country is run by the cabinet and the DNC/RNC.

We might be better off with RUN-DMC.

Trump isnt even smart enough to take advice from smart people because he isnt secure enough to surround himself with smart people

Agree with you to an extent.

But let's be even more perfectly honest; Trump is only going to surround himself with people he thinks are will to assist, enable, abet or minimally ignore him in his commission of crimes.

In the end, they all bend the knee. Or in her case, 2 knees if he wants.

    Cruz, Rubio, DeSantis, Haley...

You wonder if it's a guy visiting with a bag of cash or a guy visiting with illicit photos from Vlad.

But they all will. The whitewashing of Haley was always weak, as she was a card-carrying member of Trump World until it became personally expedient to call him a "disaster" until it became personally expedient to go right back into the tank. She will 100% do as told in the next coup. She listed a half-dozen way why he is "unfit" everyday for a year until repivoting back to voting for someone who is unfit. There is no R future in Anti-Trumpism.

I think you are being overly cynical. It’s just too easy to say “all politicians are the same”. I don’t get the sense that Biden has “handlers” orchestrating his moves.

I dont know Murph. I dont get the sense he is really in a state of hard decision making.

My guess is the student debt relief was brought to him for Instance. It was sold as a strong political move for younger voters. (I am not against some dept relief btw... Just giving an example.)
