Of course, UF will settle this in short order to bury it! My guess, Kirby promised Rashada more money, and tada!

I guess they're still sore about having to pay us to take Mike White and are trying to even the score.

If Rashada is all that, why didn't someone else pony up the NIL money to sign him? Did he get NIL money at Arizona State and UGA? If so, why does he think he gets to collect twice?

I hope you have better details of all this... I'll bet real money Kirby Smart gave that kid his blessing to move on this...

The lawsuit reads like a sensationalized press release to me. We should let this play out. If hyperbolic pleadings won lawsuits every dispute would be resolved by a race to the courthouse with the most dramatic writings. Believe me . . . there are some huge holes (i.e., missing pieces) involved. It may well be settled. It may also open unintended cans of worms.

I wouldnt agree to chit unless there is a very tight NDA signed, that would strictly prohibit any negative recruiting by Rashada and potentially UGA. I came across this via a CBS article and about 2 paragraphs in, to me it read exactly like a indirect omission that Florida is making some serious inroads with recruiting, as I found it more than ironic this happen not a week or 2 after he committed to UGA. Then near the end of the article, Rashada makes mention he informed Kirby of his decision to Sue and recieved Kirby's BLESSINGS.......hmmmm.

Found it interesting that Rashada says when he went to Arizona, he did so without the benefit of a NIL deal. That in its self might make this difficult for Florida, to shake some responsibility that Rasahda wasn't harmed financiallly harmed by the cancelled deal with Florida.
Right now my biggest concern would be the negatove recruiting that is all too sure to be used against Florida as a result of this. Getting to read the actual filing will hopfully fill in all the blanks on the in's and out's of this.

Kirby losing control of his players..."we need a diversion," so he gives that kid his blessing hoping that takes focus off of his dysfunctional team. I despise that dirty cheating clown. Even if this timing is coincidental. I despise that bowl-haircut clown.

Thanks, and I would hope, if fabricated, this would not be settled out of court! It also smells, because Kirby, supposedly, gave his blessing!

Billy needs their support for sure, but lets be more accurate about the details. Screw that grifter and his family. He found a new team to play for, and now he's on Kirby's team.

I hope we get to play that kid on the football field. That would be interesting, worth the full ticket price.

    Correct.
The University of Florida is not cited as a defendant, despite the school’s head coach and a former employee being named as defendants. Rashada has tapped attorney Rusty Hardin as counsel. Hardin has built a reputation for working with athletes, with former clients including Warren Moon, Roger Clemens and Deshaun Watson.

Gators’ head coach Billy Napier, former Florida director of NIL and player engagement Marcus Castro-Walker and well-known UF booster Hugh Hathcock are named as defendants.
The lawsuit also names Hathcock’s former company, Velocity Automotive, which was supposed to be used to help fund the financial package.
