    SE Louisiana is flat taking Clemson to the woodshed. Up 6-0 with Clemson coming up in bottom of 5. If this holds it really plays into Bama's favor.

    Dayton is hanging tough with Tennessee. Only down 2-0 going to the 4th. Trivia that means nothing to anyone but me. I live in a very small North Georgia Blue Ridge mountain town. Our high school softball is pretty darn good but only because it is class 2A. We quite frequently get to the State finals in Columbus. But we very rarely have a kid who gets a D1 scholarship. Our senior catcher from last season signed with Dayton. And last season we had a freshman pitcher who is probably already a better overall player so it will be very interesting to see where she ends up in three years.

    Clemson falls 6-2. The SE coach is pretty impressive. Auburn might be thinking about him if they are smart.

    Boston/Oregon will be interesting. Boston is actually ranked and it is very questionable. They play absolutely nobody. They lost to Duke, South Carolina and Northwestern. The actually beat a bad Michigan State team. Other than that, all cupcakes.

    In a back & forth game #14 Washington edged out Inidana 8-7 in the Missouri Regaional.
    Texas shut out Siena 5-0.
    UCF came from behinad to beat Auburn 11-6 in the Tallahassee Regional.
    Kentucky got a walk off single in the bottom of the 7th to beat Michigan 4-3 in the Oklahoma State Regional.

    And the completely incapable of hitting Bama team is 0-0 after 5 against USC Upstate.

    Bama just got a run in the bottom of the 6th. They have 7 hits. Briski has no hit Upstate so far.

    Alabama beat USC-Upstate 1-0. Upstate got 2 singles in the top of the 7th, their only hits of the game, but grounded into a DP to end the game.

    Briski lost the no hitter but Bama scratched out a desperate 1-0 win.

    Pat Murphy brought in Kayla Beaver in the top if the 7th with 1 out and 1 on. She gave up a base hit and then got the double play to end it.

    Murphy reminds me of Bowden. FSU let him go far too long and he ruined the program for years. Murphy is doing the same. One after another of his best players get out of town as fast as they can. Recruiting is nothing to applaud. Will they make a move or accept continued mediocrity? He was lucky that Montana stuck with him or it would have been rock bottom. And Beaver saved him to some moderate extent as she apparently always wanted to be at Bama but she only could/had to spend one year there.

    Oregon, a mediocre 28-19 team, is taking Boston to the woodshed 8-0. Not surprising when Boston literally spent 95% of the season playing Bucknell and Army. That they were ranked is absurd.

    And in the top of 4, Chattanooga is leading FSU.
