Up 1.1 percent in the past year. Food companies finally realizing greed ultimately has consequences. Consumer price index: Grocery prices fall for first time in a year as food inflation eased
Or some of the supply reasons why prices spiked have eased, bird flu and culling of millions of chickens for one. Often it’s not as simple as one issue with complex problems.
The real victim here is @ETGator1. He thought he finally had a viable thread.: Producer Price Index Rises More Than Forecast That lasted 24 hours.
Why does this forum always have to be a hate session? This is a good thing. The underlying reasons are for people much smarter than I. Beating up on ET in groupthink helps absolutely no one.
Haven't a lot of people been saying that in response to the claim that the sole reason for worldwide inflation has been Joe Biden?
Holy cow... this may be the first time I've read a MAGA sheeple admit that a lot of the inflation problem is supply chain issues. Next, maybe they will start admitting that throwing out people coming here wanting to work has had a negative impact on prices too. Nah ...
You believe Republicans won't find something to attack Biden for no matter which way the numbers move?
He’s the first geriatric President. It is hard to know if he’s a puppet who says what he is told to say by his handlers while he lives in his retirement home, or if he actually is calling the shots on a lot of this stuff. I suspect the answer is somewhere in the middle, and a lot of others are calling the shots for him. Elderly people can be obstinate and stubborn in really stupid ways, so I bet Biden could be a pain in the rear at times to his handlers. Either way I put all of the policy outcomes of the Presidency squarely on the DNC. That is who is ultimately responsible for all of Biden’s policy actions. And even if Biden finally hangs it up to go live in a retirement home, then whoever the next DNC POTUS is will be more of the same. It will be a different PR head enacting the same policies, serving the same set of interests, with the same results as the Biden Presidency.
Sure. And whoever the next DNC POTUS is, do you think the Republicans will find a way to attack the results no matter which way the numbers move?
I criticize the DNC for their policies. I don’t anticipate any philosophical deviation that would change DNC policies from one dem POTUS to the next. So, there will still be plenty of reasons to criticize the next sitting dem POTUS whoever that is.
Publix 12 packs of name brand soda dropped from $9.79 to $9.21 the last time I was there. My personal benchmark for prices.
Go for the bogos! I'll take heat over this but the subs suck! It took me 4-5 years to chew through the last ones bread. And yes I have good teeth.
Where is that loser button? It's a very small fraction compared to the price increases under Bidenomics at the grocery store.
Do you think this poster actually believes his own nonsense? Or did I miss the comments about.......policy?
