That's a bit over the top, don't you think? I've dealt with a lot of cops, and most are very professional in a job more difficult than most I know of. Still, I agree that Trump is FOS in proposing that idea.

Expulsion of all immigrants
Prosecution of all abortions everywhere
Trade tarrifs with the world
Ukraine on a platter

All this and more will be the reasons 35%+ of this country will go out to vote. ...because they WANT this. How did we become so myopic? (Rhetorical)

It's not about getting any legislation passed, it's just about getting these people to the polls to adore him. To enrich him. To pardon him.

Thing is… after Jan 6th I don’t see how anyone believes that Trump or his supporters really support the police. I think they do only when they agree with who or what is being policed, and no this isn’t off-topic. When Jan 6th was happening, and all the aftermath… I had just assumed that the “party of law and order” thing was over. Very surprising that any police would believe he supports them unconditionally, but surely they do.
