Gators are undefeated right now and after we play Miami we'll still be undefeated. I know our schedule is brutal but I still think we will win more than 6 games.

Their QB is gonna be an issue. He might save Cristobol.

I’m hoping for the best. But I’m never confident going into a Miami game.

He's supposed to be good. I believe I read he didn't look so good in their Spring game? Don't know if it's going to take some time for him to learn their offense and all be on the same page. I think the crowd will help us immensely. But as to how good he is in our game, much of that is on our staff as well. Four long months until we find out.

Miami will always play their ass off vs UF. Their roster is as good as ours

Don't know about their skill positions but seems like they have recruited plenty of big kids on the lines. Hope we can match up. The Swamp is going to be incredible. Shame there will be scummy scUM fans in the house.

Agree! I expect the Swamp will be hard to hear, and I'm hoping for first game jitters!

I expect their DL will give our OL all it can handle; and their OL will likely protect their quarterback better. Although their OL has more experience than ours, there should be illegal procedure issues (due to crowd noise), especially with a new signal caller at qb. I'll be very surprised if the Swamp is not the X factor as well!

Back to back games in the Swamp with FSU (last year) and UM this year with their fans stinking up the place. Id like to see Lume get rid of that smell!

That's a reasonable expectation, which I have as well! He may very well have more interceptions, but, hopefully, should have bigger plays and touchdowns. I am also expecting our defense to come up with more turnovers. Now, if ST can play better, we will all be happier!!!

The Spring game, obviously, is no indication that the problem has been resolved!

Yeah, UM absolutely hates us as much as we hate them. Also, this game is hugely pivotal for both programs and both HCs know it. IMO, Ward's stats at WSU indicate that he's a proficient but nothing really special passer. His rushing stats were a bit pedestrian as well. Of course, that's not to say that he can't come into the Swamp and beat us like a drum. We'll see what he does against what we hope will be a better pass D than the one he faced in their spring game. Frankly, I'm much more concerned about our own play on D than I am with the prospects of a QB with an OK to pretty good resume who's making his first start for scUM at the Swamp. I think we will probably win this game if we play average to good defense. Anything less will likely result in a loss.
